Keep Exploring

Canada was Unreal! Made the most of the holiday weekend by camping and hiking all over the Canadian National Parks system. We were able to explore the most rugged mountain peaks In North America! Weather was slightly wet and cold, but was a nice break form the NV heat we have been used to.

This trip started in Calgary where we began traveling up the Icefield Parkway through Banff and Jasper, with side trips to Kootenay and Yoho parks as well. We were even lucky enough to secure a 1% chance into the Lake O’Hara campsite for the night. Locations visited include:

– Two Jack Lake – Lake Minnewanka – Vermilion Lakes – Johnston Canyon – Castle Mountain – Lake Louise – Mirror Lake – Lake Agnes – Moraine Lake – Sentinel Pass – Marble Canyon – Paint Pots – Lake O’Hara – Wixiway Gap – Oesa Lake – Yukeness Ledge – Opabin Lake – Peyto Lake – Waterfowl Lake – Chephron Lake – Athabasca Glacier – Sunwapta Falls – Athabasca Falls – Pyramid Lake – Maligne Lake
